Two-day Porcelain Throwing Course with Jo Davies
This is a two-day porcelain throwing course with ceramicist Jo Davies. The course runs from 10am - 4pm each day.
During the course, students will be taught how to use porcelain on the wheel and given the fundamentals for future development.
This course is designed for individuals who have some existing skills in making wheel-thrown ceramics. The course caters for a wide spectrum of experience levels, so it’s not expected that you are advanced in order to attend this course, which will have plenty to challenge those with more experience, but is also suitable for people who consider themselves beginners with some prior experience of throwing.
Jo has taught beginner to postgraduate level ceramic students at Brighton University, Farnham University College, West Dean College, Jingdezhen Ceramics Institute in China, as well as at many private studios around the UK.
Pots are typically ready to collect 3-4 weeks after the course. Postage can be arranged.
Students are required to bring their own lunch. Refreshments will be provided each day.
